ALL CAPS = Awesome. @ 7:38 PM

Words cannot describe how absolutely adorable this CD is.
Thus, I'm finna review it for my own pleasure! :D

1) World of Warcraft Ruined My Life -- 4/5 -- not only is it catchy, but the lyrics are cute and funny. Not to mention Kristina's voice is flaunted throughout the chorus. One of the more catchy songs on the album and can easily be listened to by anyone, nerdfighter or not.

2) Don't Unplug Me -- 10/5 -- ZOMG. If there were a love song actually written by machines, it would prolly never beat this! The lyrics are cute and endearing, but Luke's amazing work with the track is obviously heard through the chord progressions and effects made onto Kristina's voice. Bellisimo! *muah!*

3) Lumos Flies -- 3/5 -- Eh. I mean, of course the lyrics and story between Ron and Hermione is adorable, but using Fireflies as the basis of the song, ehhhhh. I'd prefer an original, personally. Honestly, Luke could've made a better track for the lyrics. Beggars can't be choosers, however, and overall the track is great.

4) You Kissed Me At the Dundies -- 4/5 -- I adore The Office, and the words hold perfect memories of Pam and Jim's love blossoming in one of the best comedy shows in recent memory. The beat and meter are both perfect for the song, and I love hearing both Luke and Kristina's voices harmonizing so well. At times though, her voice can be a little... I'm not sure, too pure? Maybe it's just a feature of her voice, but in the high parts it sounds slightly odd. Enjoyable, but odd. Overall, great.

5) Hey Kristina -- 5/5 -- So cute. Nuff said.

Aaaaaaaand that's all I feel like reviewing. Sahrry. :D

*phew*

May I just say that Sherlock Holmes was FANTASTIC!?

Yes, it was sososososososo above any expectations I held before I witnessed its shining glory! Like, zomg.

Not only did the plot keep me entertained throughout the whole movie, but Robert Downey Jr. looked (for lack of a better word) droll-worthy. I think I have a thing for weird/badass guys nao.

My Never by Blue October. @ 7:49 PM

So.

Blue October is one of my favorite bands as of late, and I just wanted to share my favorite song by them at the moment.

I've recently broken up with my boyfriend of five months. Call it teenage love, but I truly loved him with so much of my heart. It's sad how things ended up between us, but I digress.

This song just pulls at my heartstrings.

It is exactly the way I feel about him at times, not romantically, but our friendship. I don't know, music speaks to me most of the time.

Anyways, I just wanted to share some fantastic music.

Night.

Government. *shutter* @ 2:24 PM

Taking AP Government has to have been the absolute worst idea I've ever had.

EVER.

We are guaranteed a quiz every time we walk through the door. 99.8% of the time I have no clue what it's on. Way to start off class positively! NOT.

Then he lectures. Oh my lord, his lectures.

Let's just say I'd rather scoop out my eyeballs with a spoon, slowly.

It's like the mixture of the boring subject matter and his droning voice are the perfect lullaby. And this isn't even my first AP! I've taken 2 courses in English and Psychology already, so I don't understand. Maybe I'm just giving myself mental walls when I think like this/fall asleep in class.

*sigh*
All I know is that I have to absolutely positively pass the class with at least a C to survive. Or else I'll be deferred. EVERYWHERE.

Which sounds just flipping fantastic, considering I'm so worried about college in general.

But thats for another blog.

Anyways, I have a mountain of homework that needs finishing, plus some water that needs drinking and some music that needs listening.

BLAH.

Beginnings @ 7:15 PM

You want to know the worst part of starting a blog?
Starting it.

I mean, I want this to kind of be a way of venting the shit out of my life without any repercussions, so I want it so look/sound/feel legit. Maybe I should just ramble like an ignoramus like I am now.

What do you need to know about me?
I'm Emily, I'm 17, I'm obsessed with makeup, I'm a twitter addict, I'm a band geek, I love music so much I think I have an addiction.

Pretty much, thats it. I'm pretty damn simple for a teenager, to be quite frank.
And I'm tired. Night.

welcome

Name's Emily.
I'm a senior in high school.
I like to bitch about my life.
My parents are my absolute rock, I adore them.
My friends make me laugh and smile and love my life.
I write. A lot.
I play the saxophone, the flute, AND the piccolo. BAM!
